Welcome to Kennesaw Office Suites.
My name is Rebecca Calbert, and I own an architectural firm that specializes in childcare centers and private schools. Just like most small businesses, I started out in the dining room of my own home. Initially, I tried to hire virtual architects to work with me, but the communication and learning process was too slow and intermittent.
In 2015 I made the decision to open up a brick and mortar location. I wanted my office location to be close to home. No more long commutes for me! And I wanted to have a building that included room to grow into.
And grow we did!
But growth rarely follows a straight line. We would grow for a couple of years, and then shrink down a little. As the phrase goes, “Two steps forward, one step back.” Every couple of years, employees would move into the upstairs of my office building, only to move back down to the main floor a year later. Our size each season would depend on how many projects we have going on at any given time.
Meanwhile, the upstairs offices have been vacant more often than not.
Enter in Kennesaw Office Suites for rent.
I’ve decided to rent out these upstairs office suites. They’re the perfect size for 1-4 people in each suite, and each suite comes with it’s own private mailing address and mailbox. Having my own business address was a really big deal to me when I moved out of my dining room. It’s very validating as a business owner to know that if a prospective client looks up my location, he doesn’t see my own personal home, but rather an actual office building.
It’s also really important to me that when a client wants to meet me at my office, that I can accommodate the meeting at a moments notice. That’s why I will not be renting our conference room out to the public. Our conference room will only be used by our office tenants. There is a maximum of four tenants in this building. The shared use of the conference room, as well as the break room, will be limited to these four tenants. This limitation should allow for plenty of availability and flexibility in each tenants schedule.
My favorite thing about this office building is how comfortable it feels. There’s no social obligation to dress up and “look the part” of a formal corporate office employee. We’re a come as you are group of people.
